Bioavailability

How our nano-technology improves our products THC bioavailability

Nanoemulsion process:

Nanoemulsion process

Cannabinoids like THC are naturally oil-soluble (lipophilic), making them difficult for the body, which is mostly water, to absorb efficiently. The nanoemulsion process uses high-energy techniques like ultrasonication to break down the THC oil into microscopic, water-soluble particles.

Bypassing metabolism:

Bypassing metabolism

In traditional edibles, THC is first metabolized by the liver, which converts it into a more potent compound called 11-hydroxy-THC and also significantly reduces the amount that enters the bloodstream. Nano-sized particles, however, are small enough to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream through the lining of the mouth and stomach, bypassing much of this first-pass metabolism.

Increased surface area:

Increased surface area

The dramatic reduction in particle size creates a much larger surface area for the THC to be absorbed. This faster and more complete absorption is what leads to a quicker and more potent effect.

Benefits of Nanoemulsion THC

Faster Onset

While traditional edibles can take 45 to 90 minutes or longer to produce effects, nanoemulsion products can take effect in as little as 15–30 minutes. This rapid onset is comparable to the effects of smoking or vaping.

More predictable effects

The higher bioavailability means your body can absorb more of the THC. As a result, you can feel stronger effects from a smaller dose.

Greater Potency

With quicker and more efficient absorption, nano THC offers a more consistent and reliable experience. The guesswork associated with traditional edibles is reduced, making it easier to control your dosage.

Versatile product formats

Since the cannabinoids are made water-soluble, they can be seamlessly mixed into a wider variety of products, including beverages, without separation or an oily residue.
